Summary: Harriet spies on a lot of people in her neighborhood.  Eventually she looses her notebook to her classmates, and they find out what stuff she wrote about them.  The friendship is broken and Harriet is elected the school newspaper editor for the trimester and writes nasty things about the anti-spy club. In the last newspaper, she includes the fact that all the previous newspapers were lies. Her friendships are brought together again.

Summary: Brenton would look like a geek, but actually has a homework machine at his home disguised as a copier/printer. And so Judy, Sam, and another friend find out about the homework machine.  They code name it belch, and use it to do their homework.  But it gives them a lot of trouble.  They unplug it but it does not turn off.  So they load it into a catapult and fire it off the South Rim of the Grand Canyon

The hobbit is about a hobbit name Bilbo who goes on a quest and finds a ring.  In the Lord of the Rings, his nephew Frodo destroys the evil ring. This is a fantasy series.

This series is about a teenage orphan who is forced to be a super spy by MI-6, the British national intelligence agency. Alex's dad was a double agent, killed by a bomb in a plane (set off by the best man at his wedding).  Alex Rider worked twice with the CIA, and once by himself. These are action adventure, a very good series.
For the whole series I give 3.75 stars
The series has finished, but the author is write a few side books about minor characters (Yassen).
